Treasure Chest Appliances

We want you to feel confident about your purchase. This policy explains returns, exchanges, delivery acceptance, and warranty coverage. This document applies to all in-store, online, and financed purchases and serves as official guidance for customers and employees.

Returns & Exchanges

General Terms

  • All returns and exchanges are subject to inspection and management approval.
  • Delivery, installation, hookup, testing, haul-away, diagnostic, and service fees are non-refundable once performed.
  • Refunds are issued only in accordance with the conditions listed below.

New Appliances (Uninstalled)

  • Returns accepted within 14 calendar days of purchase or delivery.
  • Appliance must be unused, uninstalled, and in as-sold condition.
  • Subject to a 10% restocking fee.
  • Delivery and service fees are non-refundable.
  • Exchange or store credit is the default resolution.
  • Refund to original payment method only if the appliance is defective and repair or replacement is not feasible.

Installed Appliances

Once an appliance has been installed, connected to utilities, or tested, it is considered accepted.

  • No refunds after installation.
  • Defects are handled in coordination with the manufacturer under the manufacturer's warranty terms.
  • Installation constitutes customer acceptance.

Financed Purchases

For purchases made using third-party financing:

  • The same return and warranty policies apply.
  • Account adjustments are handled per financing provider rules.
  • Cash refunds are not guaranteed under financing agreements.

Satisfaction & Trade-In

We stand behind every appliance we sell. If, after installation, your new appliance does not perform as expected and is not covered by a return or warranty remedy, we will work with you to identify a trade-in solution toward another appliance from our showroom. Trade-in value is determined by the condition and current market value of the unit at the time of trade.

Delivery Scheduling

Treasure Chest Appliances is committed to providing accurate delivery and installation timeframes. We make every reasonable effort to meet the delivery window scheduled at the time of sale. While we strive to honor every commitment, unforeseen circumstances such as weather, traffic, vehicle issues, or supply delays may occasionally require rescheduling. In such cases, we will notify you promptly and work with you to arrange a new delivery time at the earliest convenience.

Warranty Coverage

All new appliances are covered by the manufacturer warranty included with the product. Treasure Chest Appliances will assist with warranty claims and provide model and serial information as needed.

Optional extended service plans may be purchased at the time of sale.

Warranty Service Process

In-Store Service

  • Appliance and original receipt required.
  • Valid ID may be accepted if the receipt is lost.
  • Service Hours: Thursday–Saturday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM.
  • Customer is responsible for transportation unless in-home service is purchased.

Parts & Replacement

All warranty parts and labor coverage is determined by the warranty company or manufacturer in accordance with their published warranty terms.

Limitations & Legal

  • Implied warranties are limited to the duration of the manufacturer's written warranty, in accordance with Tennessee law.
  • Treasure Chest Appliances is not liable for incidental or consequential damages (food loss, laundry costs, hotel expenses, etc.).
  • Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
